Why I love machine embroidery

I love machine embroidery because it is a fun way to create unique and personalized items. In the past I did a lot of appliques, but now that I have 2 very busy shops and 3 embroidery machines, I prefer the "set it and forget it" of filled designs so I don't have to keep up with fabric placement and trims on every machine. Or often times, I will use an applique design, but not place fabric, if the design will still look good like that. Sew Sweetly is by far my favorite shop to go to for embroidery designs!
