Always New Things to Learn!

Although I have several hobbies, I always circle back around to machine embroidery! I love to learn new things, and machine embroidery provides plenty of opportunities to explore new challenges. Once I pull myself away from the all-consuming pursuit of downloading the latest, greatest designs (any other design-hoarders out there??), I love to see filled designs come to life as they are stitched out by the machine. I have recently switched over from a (very over-priced) commercial embroidery software package to the Embrilliance software, and I am happy to find it much easier to navigate. There are so many free lessons and videos available, as well as great customer service. I plan to add applique and in-the-hoop techniques to my embroidery skills next.
