Why I love embroidery

I love embroidery because I can make such beautiful things with it. I don’t have a creative bone in my body, but with embroidery, people think I do! I especially love ITH projects, but I do lots of appliqué and regular fill embroidery as well. When I first started embroidering, I was embroidering everything I could get my hands on, including old dish towels. Now, every pillow case and dish towel I own is embroidered, and I do more embroidery for others. My husband’s first question is, “who is that for?” It’s my happy place.
