Why I love embroidery

I love to embroider for my grandkids, family, and friends something special. I like the creative process of adding the embroidery to something that I am creating especially for them. I tend to use applique more, but have been using redwork or vintage on some dish towels that I recently inherited. I like to see what others have done and get some great ideas on what I can do or how I can adapt the idea to work for me. It is also a great way to see other peoples color choices of the same thing. Videos are great to show me new techniques that I have not tried before. 😀
