Why I love embroidery

I have 9 grandchildren who all live about 1500 miles away. I get to see them about twice a year and in between visits I make them wonderful things that they can use and wear so that they think of me and pop pop even when we aren't there. My sewing machine keeps me busy when I have no one else to hug or hold and at the same time helps me be productive in retirement. I was paralyzed 10 years ago while surfing and even though I can walk now it is with great pain and difficulty, so sewing is a God send for me. I love seeing new designs and ideas for machine embroidery and projects. Thank you for this new forum.
