I love machine embroidery

My sister introduced me to machine embroidery several years ago. I love turning ordinary items into something unique and special. I used to do a lot of hand embroidery, but it became discouraging when it took so long to finish something. Since I discovered machine embroidery, I can personalize many of the gifts I give. My brother coaches a little league football team. He asked me to stitch the names of the children on the jerseys. It was wonderful seeing the excitement when they saw their names stitched to their jerseys watching the boys (including my nephew) play was so much more exciting for me. In addition, it is relaxing for me to watch the machine as it gradually builds a design that I have chosen and programmed into the machine.
