😄How it all began -- I'm a school teacher of students with special needs. At the time I was teaching Pre-K level and they take naps in the afternoon. A sewing group adopted my class and made quilts for my students to sleep with. A couple of the quilts had applique designs on them. I loved the designs and I wanted to learn how to make them myself.

Around that time my husband decided to buy himself a motorcycle. So since he bought himself an expensive toy, it was only right that I get to spend the same amount on me!! One of my substitute teachers was a distributor for Janome so she hooked me up with a machine and a bunch of goodies to go with it. This all started ten years ago.

I am currently involved in a quilt block group and we are making a Christmas banner. I've been in a few where we made quilts for cancer patients. My go to embroidery style at the moment would be ITH key fobs, coasters and ornaments.
