Why I love embroidery machines

I love using the embroidery machine for simple designs to be put on clothing for my grandchildren and me. This year I have used a design by Kreative Kiwi to put reindeers on sweatshirts for all of us. I also like using embroidery designs for quilts that I make for AZ Blankets 4 Kids who distribute to hospitals, Child Protective Services and other agencies that work with traumatized and fragile children. I will be using applique designs by Anita Goodesign to make my youngest grandson his first quilt. I'm still having trouble believing that I'm old enough to be a grandmother several times over.

I'm still looking for the right font for his name. The embroidery machine makes it so much easier to get the design than hand embroidering that I used to do years ago.
