Machine embroidery is fun to do!

I started with cotton thread. It was thicker then the polyester and I had difficulty figuring that out. I stitched a lot of FSL free standing lace. I then added angelina fiber to my FSL and wow that is beautiful! Today when I do FSL I add a layer or two of tulle to make my FSL very strong and the edges crisp. I find that stitching these pieces together is easier if I leave the wss in. I did stitch a lot of regular embroidery, however my work really took off with the creation of ITH. I did quite a bit with fabric, and then vinyl. I got a bunch of free vinyl from a local auto upholsterer. He also gave me some scrap leather. Love it! It is important to use leather needles when stitching leather. Other than that, it looks fabulous. I also love looking at designs. When I do not feel up to stitching, I really enjoy my design library. Thank you sew sweetly for all the free designs.
