Why I love machine embroidery

Because of the pandemic I decided to purchase an embroidery machine to allow myself withdraw from the world situation at least for a while. Little did I know that it would be possible to make such professional looking items with this machine. Applique is my favorite technique. Previously, all my applique was sewn by hand. The embroidery machine has made this technique a game changer in the most positive way. What used to take hours to accomplish is produced in a relatively short amount of time. My embroidery machine creates items that look like they came from an up scale boutique rather than from someone's little sewing room. Embroidering with my machine is a game changer for this sew-ist.
