Why I love embroidery!

I've been doing machine embroidery for 12+ years. I love that I can make things that are completely original by adding embroidery to handmade or purchased items. I don't do this as a business; it's solely for myself, family and friends. My kids regularly ask for things for their families and for their friends for gifts. This gives me a wonderful connection with them even though we live half way across the country. I never thought when I started this hobby that it would become such an important part of my life. I've made things for weddings and babies, holidays and housewarmings, graduations and just because! As long as I can continue to use my embroidery machine, I plan to keep doing machine embroidery to keep me in touch and to give me enjoyment!!
