Why I Love Machine Embroidery

There are so many reasons I love machine embroidery. The ability to make so many different things; from free standing lace 3D ornaments, in the hoop mug rugs, to monogrammed hand towels, keeps it interesting and fun. I enjoy making personalized things tailored to the recipient and then seeing their reaction to a thoughtfully handmade gift.

It's tough to narrow down my favorite style of embroidery, but If I had to pick just one at the moment it would be applique. I have made quite a few mug rugs this year and am still working on more for Christmas gifts. 🎄
