I have been embroidering, First by hand at 7 years old. Then I think about 1978 I got My first embroidery machine Singer model#1980 where you had to buy drop in plastic cams It was a very costly habit the I got my Viking embroidery machine in 1997. that is when we had to use floppy disks around $80- $100 dollars a set. Then they started selling designs on CD Finally we now have instant down loads which has been many women a business opportunity. The cost of designs are now very reasonable .So happy with my hobby Yes I spend money but truly appreciate the freebies as I am getting older
