why I love machine embroidery

Machine embroidery is fun all year every season as there is always something new and old favorites. So many beautiful projects are posted and there is sometimes even inspiration overload. I have kept my older machines since I started out as they are generally old and not worth much except to me since they are in good shape. I started this hobby in 2000 as my daughter wanted a wedding dress/veil with no lace used. I did satin white on white bands on dress and headpiece using my first and then only 4x4 machine and I think a swirl from a brother 21 card, adding pearls and hot fix rhinestones to them I had no software but was desperate for some faster way than by hand to embroider. I have come a long way. If anyone is hesitating getting into this hobby, just find a machine and get started. all but two of the machines here were lightly used. I keep them serviced occasionally and all are still working well.
