Why I love my embroidery machines

A few years ago I fractured my back and was unable to return to work as an OT. I used to sew a long time ago and was perusing FB for interesting things. I came across a post about a purse someone had made and was blown away! I got my machine out and started sewing purses, bags, pouches, etc. During this time I started noticing other people adding to their bags by embroidering them. I started researching and found a lady’s page who did appliqué embroidery on tee shirts. I was hooked! I ordered my first machine (Brother PE 800) and got started. I love it!!! About 6 months later I bought a used multi needle from a dealer and haven’t looked back since. I love sewing and embroidering. I even got a Cricut maker to add embellishments and heat transfer items to my creations.

I have had my embroidery machine for about 15 yrs. Used it a lot when I first got it, but it kind of went by the wayside. Started doing some quilts, so the embroidery was on the back burner. Just started embroidery again. Now, that is all I want to do!! So glad that I am doing that again.
