Why I love machine embroidery

I got my first embroidery machine in 2013 (Bernina 450) and adored making cute things for my new great-niece. Then I got ambitious. . . and the 5x7 limit was too small, so I bought a Bernina 880+. I'm in hog heaven! I'm doing all kinds of fun things with it and am contemplating retiring so that I have more time for it. Sadly, since I work at home anyway, the pandemic hasn't given me all the extra time some others have had . :-( I've been working on one of the Hoop Sisters' Moroccan Sunset quilt--and that has been a massive process! Should have finished it months ago, but when you have 160+ 5x5 blocks to make, it gets a bit repetitive. I'm eager to finish now though. :-)
