Why I love embroidery

I began sewing when I was 7 years old and have always loved sewing. I retired a few years ago and requested a combination sewing / embroidery machine. I had absolutely had no idea how addicted I would become to embroidery. I just loved making things for myself and others, especially my grandson. I love the whole process, selecting a design, choosing material and just watching it all sew out. Applique is my favorite. I am currently trying to learn how to use my NEW upgrade embroidery machine. I am no longer limited to a 4 X 4 hoop and my excitement is over the top.
