Loving machine embroidery

I like machine embroidery because people of all levels can get creative and quickly learn to produce a nice result. Whether it's a beginner learning to get that first design out of her machine or the advanced student learning to digitize, there's always something new to learn. I was surprised the first time I saw ITH projects. Sometimes I think it would be easier to just stitch that zip bag myself, but there's something magic about laying down all those layers of fabric and out pops a useful objects. The recent fad for rope bowls has caught my eye and I have my rope ready and waiting!
