I purchased my first machine, a single needle after attending an event. A month later I attended another event, traded in my single needle and purchased a 10 needle. I absolutely love my machine. I embroidery to relieve stress. I made over 125 appliqued stockings for my GRANDsons' GREATniece's and this year I "adopted" two elementary teachers and made them for their kiddos. I love to embroidery hand towels and give them as gifts. I branched out this year and made ornaments.
