I am fairly new to machine embroidery, but absolutely love it. I like the filled designs more, as I still need to learn to do applique designs. I wish I had more time to do embroidery. It is relaxing and creative. What a nice feeling to see the end product as a whole and the smiles on the faces when you give something special with a personal touch as a gift to friends and family. I also like to make cot duvets with that extra personal touch. It gives me a great feeling of satisfaction and pleasure.
