Why I like machine embroidery?

I love machine embroidery because it allows me to be very creative and make beautiful and/or fun gifts at a reasonable cost (well, reasonable if you don't count what I paid for my Baby Lock Meridian, ha ha). And my Meridian gives me some very flexible creative control. And I love giving gifts to family and friends even when there's no reason other than 'just because'. My favorite gift is "I thought of this (or saw this) and thought of you". My favorite type of embroidery is FSL but any realistic-looking, or light-and-airy, or swirly-and-twirly, or silhouette will catch my attention. And I absolutely ADORE embroidering with glow-in-the-dark thread or doing white thread on black fabric or black thread on white fabric designs! Wow, I'll stop now but thank you for asking!
