Why I love machine embroidery

I've been eyeing up embroidery machines for around 18 months trying to think of a reason to dive into yet 'another' hobby. I mean when would I use it, what for, where am I gonna put it!! And then I threw myself in the deep end and absolutely LUUUVE it. I've put monograms on heaps of things, made new baby, Christmas and post cards (did you know you can put fabric mounted on card through the post!). I was so chuffed with my first attempt at FSL lace I posted it on a local crafting page and got an order in less than 30 mins, and I wasn't even thinking of selling them 🤪.
So if you're on the fence, come on in, the waters lovely!

Oh why do I love embroidery?? Oh let me count the ways!! I just get such a feeling of accomplishment when I finish a projoect!! I love how my grandkids eyes light up when I give them something I have made for them. I also have rented a spot i. A cute little shop near my home town and love how the ladies like and comment on my things. I just recently was asked to make some Christmas stockings for a customer of this little shop and felt pride that the owners chose me out of the other seamstresses there. But I am the only one who does both, sew and embroidery. I also just love tow Atchison as the colors turn into a beautiful design.
